More "It's a Wipe!" progress in the Insect Temple.
Prophet Dung Beetle — kill the P.D.B. until it splits into three colored beetles, and kill them according to the order of the color in the rainbow — Reg/Orange/Yellow/Green.Blue/Indigo/Violet. I've been trying this fight for weeks until it just occurred to me today what the trick was.
Princess Bee — Princess Bee retaliates any damage done to her, so have healers do quick heals on the most damaged raider and expect any low HP raiders to die. The boxes contain fire bombs and respawn if killed, so just ignore them. Focus on Princess Bee and hope she dies before you do.
Twin Statues — Right can only be damaged by range, Left can only be damaged by melee. If they aren't taken down evenly, they enrage and begin to retaliate, quickly killing the raid. My advice is to just have the raid all attack one and then the other. Sure, half the dps won't be damaging the one you happen to be on, but at least it will be easier to keep them even. It was too late for the raid when I figured this out, so I had to flee.
Loot is the standard 40 gear score loot, though in some slots not filled in Fiery Center. FC is a "pretty hard" raid, while Insect Temple is a "hard" raid, so I thought IT would have better gear. But, just starting work on this raid.
I bought a Guild Hall for the guild, which raised everyone's spirits, and also gave the most depressed wizard a Podracer mount, but the smiles were fleeting and those debbie downers are grumbling again. DarkAssns is disgruntled and changing to Tank mode in the middle of fights.
When we finish the game, I'm kicking every one of them out of the guild. Every. One. Of them.
