More "It's a Wipe" progress. We're getting toward the end of the game.
Twin Statues — my strat from yesterday worked. Just kill them evenly and you win. It took awhile, since only half the dps was working at any one time, but didn't have any issues.
Pimple of Cthulu — The Pimple occasionally charms one of the raiders, who will begin attacking a member of the party. Every so often, the Pimple summons some tentacles, who begin crawling toward certain party members. I have no idea what they would do if they got there, as I focused dps on them when they popped. Easy fight, and that was it, Insect Temple was defeated.
Next comes the raid I have not had much luck on, the dragon raid (and then there's the final raid, which is not yet unlocked so I don't know much about it).
My guild is intensely unhappy, which is weird because the first clear of a new raid was a real up time in every guild I've been in. I bought another guild hall and distributed presents to the most unhappy wizards (almost always wizards).
The problem when opening a new raid is that everybody wants their lewts right away. One person gets an upgrade, a half dozen other people get miserable. It's a fast trip to an unhappy guild.
Well, just two more dungeons until I can kick everyone out of the guild. And relax.
