One less Station Pass member.

I cancelled my old credit card and my recurring subscriptions, like my old Virgin cellphone account I couldn’t unsubscribe from, and Station Pass, finally ended. I looked at what the Station Pass offered me and… well, out of all the games SOE offers, I only play EQ2. Station Pass is a phenomenally poor value for … Read more

EQ2: An Arasai in Timorous Deep

everquest2-2007-11-24-10-58-51-01.jpg
During Beta, I made some bruiser armor for an Arasai — just to see how it looked. And I thought that Arasai looked so cute in it that I would save her character file and make a level 1 copy of her on the live servers.

EQ2: Dera and Dina’s Travels Through Kunark

everquest2-2007-11-18-20-30-45-54.jpg
DERA: I am Dera Tanglewood, a 72nd level Inquisitor in service to the Overlord, Lucan D’Lere. My armor was made in the bowels of Fallen Gate my Dwarf metalsmiths whose hands were crushed after to prevent them making another like it. My shoulder and arm armor were stained with the blood of High Elves. I raid occasionally, but usually am content to keep my groups… somewhat alive… in high-end KoS and EoF dungeons, and my gear reflects that.
DINA: Hiiiii! I’m Dina Tanglewood, and Dera won’t tell you this, but we’re cousins. My mom, Etha, is sisters with her mom, Dora, and Grampa Budo and Grammy Nina used to play in Rivervale together when they were little. I am a 74th level troubador, and when Rivervale was lost, my grandparents took refuge in the Sprawl, where as a young girl, I taught crippled dwarfs how to whistle. I wear my mom’s bathrobe. It’s so warm and cozy! I do raid, and most of my gear is fabled gear from KoS and EoF raids. And I like doggies!

When Kunark opened, my guild first made groups and tore off to explore the new content. Having a lot of fun, and exploring, but not making that much experience.
Since the expansion came out last week, we have become a guild of soloers; which is fantastic, if you’re a class that can solo well. Everyone has respeced to DPS. Sometimes people pair off. Sometimes people need to finish a quest but can’t because people are just so far away.
